How to Lucid Dream Tonight

Before I begin… If you are new to the world of Lucid Dreaming I would highly suggest you read other posts as prerequisites before venturing to the world of lucid dreaming.  There are a few things you should know, check out What is a Lucid Dream – The World of Lucid Dreams and Sleep Paralysis – Dreaming With Your Eyes Open. Lack of knowledge and understanding could spell trouble as it could cause you to have a unpleasant or even horrifying experience.

Alright, now that I got that out the of the way let’s get down to the nitty gritty.   My quick and easy way to lucid dream fast is with the use of Brain Entrainment technology.  Here’s one to try.

Make sure you are completely relaxed, preferably nice and comfy in your PJs. Clear your mind of all other thoughts, you must stay focused on your intention to have a lucid dream.  If this particular binaural beat doesn’t fit your fancy, I encourage you to find a guided binaural beat meditation on YouTube.   I will say this method does not work for some people because of self limitations (from fear or disbelief).  Another option is to

If you aren’t successful with binaural beats might I suggest you try the WILD method (Wake induced lucid dream).  This is a little trick from the World of Lucid Dreaming. The WILD method, also known as the Mind Awake / Body Asleep technique, enables you to enter a lucid dream directly from a waking state.  For more on this method Click here. If all else fails come to terms with it…

Maybe tonight isn’t your night.

Practice makes perfect and lucid dreaming doesn’t always happen over night (figuratively speaking of course). If neither one of those methods work for you, well then keep trying and keep reading.  The endless possibilities and benefits are well worth the continued effort. Remember patience is the key, grasshopper.

Brain Entrainment Technology

Brainwave Entrainment Technolgy is technology aimed to cause brainwave frequencies to fall into a certain frequency that corresponds with a particular stimulus to reach an

intended brainwave state. For example, One might use a binaural beat set to a certain frequency in the range of a particular brain wave to encourage his or her brainwaves to

move towards that frequency (See brainwave frequencies).

Examples of Aural Brain Entrainment technology are

  • Binaural Beats – two coherent sounds of nearly similar frequencies are presented one to each ear. The brain blends the two sounds which produces a sensation of a 3rd sound called the binaural beat.  Best if used with quality headphones
  • Isochronic Tones – a tone that iturned on and off rapidly. They create sharp, distinctive pulses of sound,  Headphones are not needed.

Types of Visual Brain Entrainment Technology are

Dreamachine –  With the eyes closed, this device produces strobes of light which puts the user in a hypnagogic state  (the transitional state from wakefulness to sleep).

Mind Machine (and other variations) –  This form of Entrainment generates gentle flickering lights and is usually accompanied by an aural stimulus.

Even electromagnetic radiation can cause a change in brain frequency but we won’t get into that here.

Brain Entrainment Technology is important to understand because the use of this technology can not only help you to lucid dream but has an abundance of other benefits when it comes to controlling and altering your brain/mind state.

Benefits of Lucid Dreaming

The benefits of lucid dreaming are countless.  Attempting to explain all the advantages of being conscious and in total control of a limitless environment would take a lifetime. I will, however, list my top reasons why lucid dreaming may be good for you.
Ultimately, the ability to reach a new level of mind offers new insights that could lead to an awakening of your true Self. Having direct access to your subconscious gives you the opportunity to attain an understanding of who you really are.
Higher Consciousness
Lucid dreaming can also give you a deeper understanding of the world around you. As none of your senses are being actively engaged, you’ll grasp the concept of living in an holographic universe.  While in a lucid dream seeing, tasting, feeling, smelling, and hearing all feel just as real without physical stimuli.  That concept alone should blow your mind.
